ABOUT & FAQ

Who Shows Up Matters.

About the Person You’re Trusting

Cedar & Iron is intentionally personal. When you work with a large agency, you are hiring a system. When you work with Cedar & Iron, you are hiring me.

My name is Eli Peterson.

A Life of Responsibility

Much of my life has been shaped by service and steady leadership.

Military Service: As a combat veteran and military officer, I learned how to remain calm in chaos, how to assess complex situations quickly, and how to act with integrity when no one is watching.

Corporate Leadership: Working in senior roles within large organizations taught me the importance of discretion, negotiation, and long-term accountability.

Ecclesiastical Leadership: Serving as a leader in my faith community reinforced the centrality of trust, care for the individual, and the sacred duty of respecting another person's agency.

Why This Work is Personal

I am a husband and a father, but I am also a son to aging parents living with degenerative conditions.

I understand firsthand the "quiet weight" families carry. I know the late-night worry about a parent's safety. I know the frustration of navigating a medical system that treats people like numbers. And I have seen how easily dignity can be lost when support becomes rushed, impersonal, or overly controlling.

This experience shapes how I show up today:

Calm: I don't rush to fix; I take the time to understand.

Consistent: I am the same person every time I walk through the door.

Respectful: I never forget that I am a guest in your home.

My Approach: Restraint and Respect

My role is not to take over your life. My role is to remove the friction so you can keep living it.

I bring practical familiarity with homes and everyday systems—from remodeling awareness to modern home technology. This helps me notice small maintenance issues early (a loose railing, a dim hallway) and fix them before they become safety hazards.

Cedar & Iron exists because trust is personal. You shouldn't have to open your door to a stranger to get the support you need.

I intentionally limit my service area to ensure I can respond quickly to my clients.
